Aurora
Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 1995, in Stavanger) is a Norwegian musician and vocalist. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is released in May of 2015 from Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from media and bloggers. Half the World Away - by Oasis is a cover for John Lewis' Christmas ad as well as Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole - are already two notable covers that she has recorded. Katy Perry shared a tweet that Perry made a splash with her track Runaway. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was finding a keyboard in her loft, and becoming amazed by the music. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to take up music for a love rather than as a job. In order to do so, she began writing original compositions. She is credited with Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen as well as Bjork as her main influences. The singer decided to perform her songs publicly when her mom suggested they can help other people, not be famous with her music, but rather to help people see around them realize the importance of their work and how they could impact the world. Piano was her first instrument when she was six. She started making music at the age of nine. This was not known to her family members until she turned fourteen. Aurora did not have a set goal. Her only passion is writing music. For her, music is the most effective method of expressing anything.
